This work is devoted to the study of the scientific problem of women's acquisition of the right to independent spatial and geographical mobility in the modern era. To achieve the main goal, the concept of women's spatial emancipation is introduced, which is examined from the perspective of gender-oriented and spatial analysis. The reflection of this process in culture and literature is explored.
