Dr. Boubé Salifou is a researcher who has been working in a multidisciplinary environment for several years. A philosopher, administrator and political scientist by training, Boubé brings philosophy and the human sciences into dialogue, particularly anthropology, psychology and politics, in an attempt to apply hermeneutics to international relations. As one of the most eminent scholars of African thought - particularly the Cousins à plaisanterie - Boubé questions certain philosophical and political paradigms. In this book, Boubé focuses on hermeneutics - as the science of interpretation. His approach is part of the debate on a deregionalized hermeneutics, that is, a hermeneutics that also deals with culture. For this reason, in this first volume, Boubé returns to the main axes of this discipline. This return will allow him to set the stage for a contribution, to deepen the said deregionalization of hermeneutics.
