Full inpatient care concepts for people with dementia

This book provides a professionally sound view of full inpatient care concepts for people with dementia from the perspective of social work. The sociological and socio-critical focus encourages reflection on existing conditions and takes a positive look at a successful residential project based on a retirement and nursing home in Lübeck. If the focus is on the person as a whole and all social commitment is aimed at empathically perceiving the needs of the individual and strengthening the community, socio-educational efforts can also be experienced hand in hand with care and housekeeping in fully inpatient facilities - for a better quality of life in old age.
