Full Mouth Rehabilitation

The mouth is a mirror image through which too often, the personality of an individual is judged by the first impression. However, this may be falsely interpreted owing to crooked, discolored, or impaired teeth. The advancement in dentistry has made it possible to enhance a person's face value by cosmetic restoration of spaced, crooked, or unattractive teeth. The objective of full mouth rehabilitation is the reconstruction, restoration, and maintenance of the health of the entire oral mechanism, reestablishment of a state of functional efficiency in which the teeth and their periodontal structures, the muscles of mastication, and the temporomandibular joint mechanisms all function together in synchronous harmony. Full mouth rehabilitation is a dynamic and functional problem and embodies the correlation and integration of all the component parts into one functioning unit.
