Functional Perspectives and Interpretations of the Crack of the Dawn of Muhammad's Tradition and its Mild Approaches in Enugu Indigenes' Ritual Obligation to Allah, 1760-1970 is a systemic analysis of the phenomenon of Muhammad's Tradition in Enugu and its significance to the understanding of mechanical and organic societies as it affects attitude and consciousness of Enugu people to their environments and Islam's practices as a whole. It is an easy to read and comprehensive volume of a well-researched work on Muhammad's Tradition as it appears in Enugu. The study identified a historical trajectory of Muhammad's Tradition in Enugu, its mild approaches from 1760 to 1970 within the context of Structural functional perspectives of the phenomenon and the reception given to the tradition by the indigenes of Enugu. It discussed the activities that led to the emergence and sustenance of the tradition in Enugu as it appeared as Weak and Strong Senses state-society structural functionalism reality in the 21st century human activities.

Olufemi Timothy Ogunbode is a Principal Curator at the National Commission for Museums and Monuments, Akure. He is currently on his Post-Graduate course at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has published articles in Journals in the area of Strategic and Cultural History and his present research is in the area of Medical History.
