Fundamentals of preclinical removable partial denture prosthesis

This book is dedicated to our undergraduate dental students. Although there are a lot of partial denture books prescribed, our view was intended to put the lecture material in a written form and not intended to be a text book in the classical sense but rather an image on the fundamentals of Removable Partial Denture written with the expectation to cover the basics of pre-clinical part for the students to be ready to take advanced steps for clinical treatment studies. Illustrations consist of drawings and photographs placed in an attempt to make things clear and easier to understand. It is our hope that this book gives our students a sound foundation, from which principles can be applied to the wide range of clinical presentations in patients requiring partial dentures.

Ibrahim Ramadan El-Torky works as a Professor of Removable Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University, Egypt. He got the bachelor's degree in Dentistry in 1979 and the Ph.D of Removable Prosthetic Dentistry, in Alexandria University, in 1983 and 1990. His practice is limited to the field of removable Prosthodontics since 1981 until now.
