It is well organized, uses logical, simple and precise method. It has more than enough examples and exercises. The topics covered include: Probability, Random Variables, Generating Functions, Special Discrete Distributions, Special Continuous Distributions, Multivariate Random Variables, Probability Distributions of Functions of Random Variables,and Convergence.

Abdulhakeem Abdulhay Ahmad Eideh has BSc (1984), MSc (1987), and PhD (2003) in Statistics. He is an assistant professor of Statistics at Mathematics Department, Al-Quds University, Palestine. He has 22 years of experience in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in theory of statistics, theory of probability and applied statistics.
