Aspergillus flavus and Candida albicans is the most frequent species causing fungal rhinosinusitis(FRS). It was observed that Rhizopus oryzae belonged to the Order Mucorales of Zygomycotina and Candida krusei belonged to the Ascomycota causing Acute Invasive fungal rhinosinusitis (IFRS).By Using Candida agar medium (C.A) , Candida bromocresol green agar base (C.BCG.A) and Brilliance TM Candida Agar medium (CM1002) were effective of differentiate of Candida species.The use of direct examination by KOH 10% , India ink stain and fluorescent dyes (Acrydine orange and Erythrosine-B) important in the initial diagnosis to find out the etiological agent causing FRS.The diagnosis by Radiographic examinations (C.T-Scan and MRI) and histopathological examination was important to know that pathogen ( bacteria or fungi) and thus determine the type of sinusitis.
