Gaby Amarantos (or Gabi Amaranto) is a Brazilian singer and dancer of tecno brega.Amarantos was born in the district of Jurunas, outskirts of Belém, state of Pará. He began singing at the age of 15, in the Parish of St. Therese of Lisieux.
