GADA-based hybrid control of grid-connected wind turbines
Details
The field of control is increasingly in demand for the development of wind energy systems, particularly for solving the problems of integrating wind turbines into a power grid. In the same vein, this book covers the following topics:- The stakes involved in the conquest of wind power and global electricity production.- A review of the fundamental theories on the study and design of wind power stations associated with controlled static converters.- Comparative study of the main MPPT control models, and validation of the models of the elements that make up a wind power system.- Exploiting the advantages of direct and indirect vector control principles applied to GADA.- Efficient selection and exploration of the performance of controllers based on Fuzzy Logic (FGL), Self-Adaptive Fuzzy Logic with PI (SAFFL-PI) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN).- The implementation of hybrid control of the wind power system combining PI/PID, LF, H controllers and the Derivative Action Filter (Fd).The results of this work are obtained via the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
