Gender Dimensions in Conflicts Between Investors and Local Community

Large scale land acquisition has brought a lot of conflicts between the investor and the local communitysince most of the local community members perceive the investor as a land grabber who denies them access to resources. The most affected by loss of land are women who are the major user of land. This loss of natural resources has brought conflict between the investor and the local community.

La autora terminó su primera carrera en 2009. Ese mismo año trabajó como profesora de secundaria. Posteriormente, la autora se matriculó en un máster que terminó en 2016 y se graduó como mejor estudiante de su especialidad. Actualmente es profesora en la Escuela Secundaria MUMBWA de la Provincia Central de Zambia.
