Gender Pay Gap: Nigeria Perspective
Details
The narrowing of gender inequalities in areas such as education, employment and political participation has brought about a paradigm shift in the conventional role of women and men respectively. Men are no longer necessarily the bread winners of the family as women have realized potentials to live beyond kitchen activities and assume greater responsibilities. Hence, this book entitled "Gender Pay Gap: Nigeria Perspective" identifies influencing gender pay gap: why men earn more than women or why women earn lesser than men on the same job with the same qualification. Also, the book provides empirical evidence of gender pay gap in Nigeria context.
