The Holy Woman and Typhoon are the tales of women living in the feudal and rural setups of Sindh, Pakistan. The stories are exposing the conditions of women coping with the issues of gender hegemony and patriarchy. The novels represent the lives of women on the verge of feudal rural politics of patriarchs and the struggle of those women for their identity. Qaisra Shahraz is a well known literary figure of modern generation of English Fiction Writers of Pakistan. She is a Pakistani diaspora writer. she is the author of three novels. The Holy woman and Typhoon are dazzling and sensational creations of her mesmerizing writing skills. She is recently resided at Great Britain.

I did my BS (Hons) in English Language and Literature from University of Sargodha in 2010 and worked there for three years as a Research Scholar. I did my M.Phil in English Literature from Lahore Leads University, Lahore Pakistan. Recently working at an affiliated institute of University of Sargodha as a Lecturer of English Literature.
