Genealogical essay on the Bkpanis of the Central African Republic

The current interest in genealogy stems from the fact that it is both the auxiliary science of many human sciences, and a science of its own, that of the history of the origins and development of individuals grouped in families. There is no denying that every man passionately desires to know where he comes from in order to explain his present personality. If we had charts of ancestry and relatives for many social groups, we would certainly take a step forward in the explanation of many problems. Any genealogical study of a family of any social condition is an enrichment for the history of the society itself, because there are no "old" families and young families. Everything that is of man, depends on man, serves man, expresses man, signifies the presence, the activity, the facts, the ways of being of man; all this is a document for the historian. In this context, we are the bags of words that contain secrets that are centuries old. Through our words we bring to life the deeds of the ancients, the kings, before the younger generations.
