The applications of Fuzzy sets to logic, set theory, group theory, groupoids, ring theory, real analysis, topology, measure theory, etc shows the importance of the concept. After the introduction of Fuzzy group, the study of fuzzy algebraic structure has been pursued in many directions such as groups, rings, modules, vector spaces, topology and so on. Our aim is to promote research and the development of fuzzy technology by studying the fuzzy subrings and fuzzy semirings. The goal is to explain new methodological developments in fuzzy subrings and fuzzy semiringss which will also be of growing importance in the future.

B. Anitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, India. She got M.Sc (1992) from Bharathidasan University, M.Phil (2003) from M.K.U. Ph.D from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, India,She has Fourteen Years of teaching experience at University and College level. Her area of research is Fuzzy Algebra.
