Genetic Analysis for Yield and it's Attributes in Brassica rapa L.

This book deals with various aspects of heterosis breeding, combining ability and gene action in Brassica rapa. The most important aspects for hybridization are the choice of parents and the selection of the best genotypes from hybrid progenies. Heterotic investigations can provide basis for the exploitation of valuable cross combinations from the breeding program and for this reason, the achievement of heterosis has become a major objective for the breeders of canola and the related species.

M M Uzzal Ahmed Liton nasceu em 10 de novembro de 1986 em Baruna, Dumuria, Khulna. O Sr. Liton é um agricultor do Bangladesh e está a fazer o doutoramento em Fitotecnia na Universidade de Manitoba, no Canadá. As suas áreas de especialização são a genética, o melhoramento de plantas e a fisiologia vegetal. Escreveu cinco artigos e recebeu muitos prémios e bolsas de estudo.
