Pearl millet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R.Br. emend Stuntz] is the most important dual purpose kharif crop of the state of Rajasthan, as well as desert region of the world being grown both for grain and fodder crop. Dr. Manohar Ram born in 01 July 1983 and hails from an agricultural family of western Rajasthan (Village- Borunda). Dr. Ram is Seed Officer in Government of Rajasthan.
