Genre problems of poetry translation

This monograph covers many issues of genre problems of poetic translation (on the example of Makhtumkuli's poems), in particular, the importance of rhythm in poetic translation, the skill of Uzbek translators, word choice in translation, the principles of comparing translation with the original text. The book explores some of the considerations of the new stage of Uzbek translation studies, including the peculiarities of rhyming translation, the translation of the poet's religious and enlightenment poems, as well as poetic elements in translation.
