Geographical Outlook of Ecotourism

The present book attempts to portray the significance of geographical and other elements to the development of ecotourism. it also gives an insight of tourists behaviour to the nature. Development of ecotourism is not mere the visiting destinations of natural beauty but endeavour to preservation and conservation of the nature that lasts the virgin nature to the generation to come. Present work points to the need of sustainable development of ecotourism.

Dr. Pawar has over 20 years of teaching experience in geography. Currently he is working as a Postgraduate Faculty in Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He has more than 50 research papers on his name, published in journals and proceedings. He also is the author of two books and has produced 11 M.Phil. and 4 Ph.D. students so far.
