Georgian women in business: analysis and recommendations

The monographic research is devoted to the study of the economic activity of female entrepreneurs in Georgia. The results of the research are presented in two chapters (with 8 subchapters).The first chapter - "The essence and tools of the policy for the empowerment of women entrepreneurs" - discussed are such important issues related to the policy of empowerment of women entrepreneurs as: legal framework, policy strategy and tactics for empowering women entrepreneurs, impact of covid pandemic on women entrepreneurs, international experience of empowering women entrepreneurs. The second chapter - "Results of research on women's economic empowerment in Georgia " - the following issues are presented: women entrepreneurs in Georgia, starting and operating a business: opportunities and challenges, impact of the covid pandemic on women entrepreneurs in Georgia, recommendations for women's economic empowerment.

Merab Vanishvili - Doctor of Economics since 1987, author of more than 120 papers in the fields of economic theory, macroeconomics, and finance. Currently, Mr. Vanishvili is the Professors of the Department of Financial and Banking Technologies at Georgia's Technical University, a real member of the Phasis Academy of Scientists.
