Ghani Khan An ambassador of love and peace, a champion of truth and tolerance is one of the greatest Pashto poets of all times. His peculiarity is in his unprecedented frankness and in his ability to conveniently challenge the established notions and centuries old cherished traditions of the Pashtun society A society characterised by the love of culture and traditions. The present chapbook is an attempt to share the aesthetically delicate and emotionally rich, philosophically potent and psychologically compelling facets of the Pashtun character.

Arif Khattak, Associate Professor/Director Academics,Iqra University, has also taught at FAST NU and GIKI. He has to his credit 8 books and 7 research papers. He was the first ever South Asia Fellow from Pakistan at the School of Oriental and African Studies. His areas of interest include ESP and language in the politics of South Asia.
