Giant magnetoelectric and magnetic enhancement in plated structures

In this book we propose novel theoretical approaches to the description of acoustic oscillations in plated piezoelectric structures and asymmetric magnetoelectric composites. The expansion of acoustic Lamb-Love s and longitudinal waves in such structures and the fundamental effective properties of them are described. The considerable enhancement of piezoelectric, magnetoelectric, magnetic and dielectric properties in such objects under the applied alternate electric and magnetic fields has been found. The nature of structure deformation of long, narrow and thin microstructures under the Lamb-Love s wave motion at different frequencies is revealed. The results of this book will be useful for scientists in the field both engineering and fundamental physics.

Radchenko Grigoriy Sergeevich was born in 1980 at Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He has published more than 60 papers and books in engeneering physics. He is a one of the leading experts in magnetoelectricity and piezoacoustics all over the world. Marina Glebovna Radchenko is an associate professor in MSTU of civil aviation. She published 25 papers.
