Girls At The Front

Girls at the Front: Looks at the experiences of girls in northern Uganda's war zone from a feminist perspective, offering thoughtful observations, art work and interviews about the complexities of human rights education during conflict. For herself she felt so bad and yet at the same time she felt so helpless, what would she do. You know the Commanders they were staying with, they were much older than them and they had authority over them in all ways. So you know your rights are being trampled on but there is nothing you can do about that so you accept that (focus group participant).
