Glass-Ceramics

This book provides a frame how Glass and Glass-ceramics can be produced by using natural minerals. A case study on how glass and glass-ceramics can be produced by Diopside and Jadeite based minerals was carried out in the laboratory. Thermal and mechanical characterization of these materials was co-relate with the compositions. Theoretical as well as practical approach for mechanical characterization was used to identify the co-relation between these.

Rinkel Jindal completed his M.Tech from IIT Roorkee with a specialization in Industrial Metallurgy and completed his Masters Degree in the area of Glass-Ceramics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, on DAAD scholarship.
