The book explores the synergy between global trade and development; particularly its impacts in developing countries, especially in the African contexts. The content of the book succinctly highlighted analytical conceptual framework, conceptualization of globalization, its ideological basis and sustainable development. It also explained the General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs/ World Trade Organization historical perspectives, trade globalization and developing countries, its constraints, particularly in Africa. Furthermore, the book analyzed African trade integration, its historical trade relations with the rest of the world, global trade in post- colonial and contemporary Africa and their challenges. As a result, strategic approaches were recommended for a win-win scenario in global trade.
