Globalised Expectations

In the framework of coercive political systems, public security subsystems are distinguished by the establishment of agendas focused on crime prevention, justice delivery and social rehabilitation. However, the relationship between rulers and ruled has been disrupted as security sub-systems have moved towards private security strategies such as video surveillance and the hiring of bodyguards.
