God & AI, Volume III

Our time in this life can open our eyes to the many ways God is manifested in our lives. We typically think of God doing this but we have a key role. We interpret and assign meaning. In doing so we are operating from the context we live in. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a primary aspect of the world many of us live in. As such, it should be no surprise that AI is part of the landscape we use when we function and make sense of our lives. In this four-volume set I began by examining the changing conceptions of God in the age of artificial intelligence. Then the second volume focused on how we recognize God in the age of artificial intelligence. This third volume stresses how we relate with God in the age of artificial intelligence. Though God may speak to us it is our responsibility to be receptive to God's voice. Our fast-paced lives can run interference with our attention span whereby God's presence should be readily apparent to us but we are too preoccupied to sense it. This leaves us open to misplaced priorities and a weak foundation. We are in a continual state of evolution.

Reverend, Dr., Colonel Jim Schnell completed a Master of Divinity degree at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and a Ph.D. at Ohio University. He retired from the U.S. Air Force at the rank of Colonel. He is a four-time Fulbright Scholar with assignment to Cambodia, Myanmar, Kosovo and Benin (West Africa).
