Governance and Accountability of Ngos in Manicaland Province of Zim

This work provides cutting edge insight into the dynamics , challenges and opportunities present in development agencies commonly referred to as Non Governmental Organisations. This evidence informed study , is especially motivated by the need to inspire and infuse tried and tested corporate governance tenets into such organisations. Communities often struggle to sustain themselves and their exposure to the vagaries of political and socio-economic adversities put them on the negative side of development. Governance literacy which is backed by good financial management practice could be the missing link in the sustenance of vulnerable groups and communities. This piece provides with just the timely prescription , which is rooted in the experiences and realities of communities directly affected in the development matrix. This work corroborates similar development efforts and certainly is a worthwhile addition to the literary investment bank.
