Grace under Fire My Journey with Breast Cancer

The author narrates how God anchored her through one of life's most trying moments.As she unfolds the story of her shocking discovery of the dreaded metastatic breast cancer, she will no doubt be a great source of inspiration to those who are facing similar trying moments.This is a dedication and a source of hope for all cancer patients especially in an African context.Despite all she went through, the author is able to wake up, shake the dust off,put on a lovely smile and courageously move on. Grace, a teacher by profession, graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University, Nairobi and a Masters of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution.She is a volunteer and a grassroots Leader with Lance Armstrong Foundation, a founder member of Pearl of Life which is a Community Based Organization involved in cancer awareness creation programmes. Grace is a co- founder of the Aga Khan hospital cancer support group. Besides all these duties, Grace enjoys the unwavering support of her husband and three daughters from her marriage most cherished.
