Graphene: a rising star

Graphene, a one atomic layer of carbon sheet, has attracted so much interest since its discovery in 2004, and has been considered as one of the most possible candidates for the material beyond silicon. Tremandous research effect has been made on this amazing material, for exploring its unique properties and possible applications, from researcheres majored in physics, chemistry, biology, material science and electrical engineer. Jilin Xia, received a PhD in EE in 2010 from Arizona State University, a ME in microelectronics in 2006 from Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology and a BS in physics in 2003 from Nanjing University, P.R.China. Jilin's research involves the physics and application of novel nanostructured electronic devices.
