Growth and development in the first 5 years

This work is a guide for health personnel and parents, offering growth charts (weight, height and head circumference) for full-term and premature children born between 600 and 2500 grams. A banner or sheet of information is attached. development that allows evaluating motor, coordination, social and language behaviors up to 5 years. Each behavior is drawn by skills whose denomination is found in a rectangle defined by the age interval, in which it usually appears. Its purpose is to help parents get to know their son or daughter better, presenting the skills ordered according to their appearance to show harmony in them. The longitudinal presentation with its transitions is intended to improve observation of parents, siblings, or any family members who regularly interact with the child. In this way it will be possible to understand the permanent effort that children make to acquire their achievements. Reference is made to biological and environmental factors that can interfere with growth and development.
