Guayusa leaf tea

Guayusa leaf, which is the main raw material for the project, is found in significant quantities in the Province of Morona Santiago (ECUADOR), where the product is consumed in abundant quantities. The industrialization of a typical raw material in the province of Morona Santiago, such as guayusa, will serve to take advantage of its production in the locality and will encourage its producers to improve the conditions of planting and harvesting, so that they can obtain a quality product for marketing and further processing to obtain finished products that meet the needs of consumers, such as guayusa tea. This project brings together several studies, such as: the market study, the technical study, the economic study and the financial study. The project will provide important information to produce and commercialize natural tea made from guayusa leaves in the province of Morona Santiago, giving rise to enter the market, eliminating oligopolies, opening sources of work and contributing to the health of those who prefer a tea to a pill to relax and eliminate ailments.
