He said three militants were killed in the clash and that another was wounded before blowing himself up with a hand grenade. February 3 - Two guerrillas, including a woman, were killed in a security operation in the town of Malgobek, Ingushetia. Two policemen were killed during an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Dagestani Interior Minister Adilgerey Magomedtagirov in Makhachkala; another policemen was shot dead in the same city earlier that day.
