Guide for Local Peace Committees

The northeastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo faces multiple problems of security, inter-ethnic conflicts, politics, economics due to weak state structures and dysfunctional governance. This publication is part of the accompaniment and research activities we have been carrying out since 2017 with the Bureau Diocésain de Développement "BDD" of the Anglican Church of Congo, Diocese of ARU supported by Conciliation Ressources International, a British NGO based in London. It is from this angle that we want to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable infrastructure for peace in the north-eastern region of DR Congo, to enable the Local Peace Committees (Comités Locaux de Paix - CLP) to participate and strengthen national unity and harmony between the populations.
