Guidelines for Children with Type1 Diabetes

Guidelines book is your guide to: building skills and knowledge needed for control diabetes, finding a diet may be used to avoid complication of diabetes, finding tips for adolescence with diabetes,learning what makes your blood glucose too high or too low and make healthy food choices. This book is the outgrowth of experiences gained from our published scientific articles and teaching experiences in the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Al Baha & Al Taif Universities, Saudi Arabia. In this book, we emphasized the educational training control of children with type1 diabetes, effectiveness of diabetic education program on the HbA1c levels among type1 diabetic children in Omdurman Paediatric Hospital, dietary guidelines, nutritional care, and meal planning for children with type1 diabetes. Hopefully, this book will serve to stimulate further scientific study on the children with type1 diabetes. The feedback contributed effectively to knowledge of diabetic children and their carers regarding diabetes control.

His experiences covers different areas of Nutritional Biochemistry, Food Sciences, and Advanced Nutrition; he has authored 20 articles.
