The study was conducted on amateur badminton players to assess hamstring strain. Badminton is a full of fast reacting movements and there is running, twisting, changing direction at speed all places a lot of strain on the hamstring resulting strain or tear therefore increase the risk of hamstring injury occurring. Hamstring strain is commonest injury among badminton players so assessment of hamstring strain is necessary . Amateur players are not professional players so there is chances of injury in this players are common. So 2 clinical test performed among amateur badminton players that is single leg hamstring bridge test and modified bent knee stretch test. total 470 participants were included in the study. The result obtained is , test was positive in 305 (64.1%) players and negative in 165 (35.1%) players.
