These patients require a passive and aesthetic prosthesis which mimic the natural structure of the body.The silicone material is the most accepted one to regain the smoothness and body markings as the natural.The patients getting the normal appearance and some passive function by using silicone prosthesis . silicone prosthesis are now a days a most desirable prosthesis in the patients point of view.

I am working in national institute of locomotor disabilities(Divyangjan)formerly known as national institute for the orthopedically handicapped as a workshop manager. I did research in silicone prosthesis in my master degree of prosthetics and orthotics. I fitted all variery of patients with silicone prosthesis and get a satisfied result from them.
