Regenerative endodontics is an emerging branch in the field of dentistry. Immature permanent tooth/ tooth with an open apex is a challenge for regular endodontic treatment. Regenerative endodontic treatment is a biologically based treatment option for an immature permanent teeth resulting in the continued root development, increased thickness in the dentinal walls and apical closure. Thorough knowledge in the field of dental trauma, pulp biology and tissue engineering is important for the ultimate success of the regenerative endodontic treatment. We thought of sharing our understandings and knowledge in the field of regenerative endodontics with our students, colleagues and faculties through this book. We believe that this will help the readers to understand and manage the immature permanent tooth. We hope that this book will be of great use to the readers. We look forward to the valuable comments, suggestions, and criticism of the readers to improve this book in the subsequent editions
