Handover Optimization using mobile relays

The book focused on new ways to use LTE technologies. Mobile relay nodes introduced recently offer a new possibility regarding network utilisation. Instead of handling user equipments on an individual basis, it is possible to use group mobility due to public transportation to optimize the network regarding data length, signal quality etc. This document explains both the basic of LTE regarding handover (from a protocol standpoint) and how to introduce the usage of mobile relays nodes on that context.
