HANSEATIC LEAGUE

The book presents the history and culture that developed in the context of the foundation and operation of the northern European trade association of the Hanseatic League during the Middle Ages. It is an academic research based on the sources and the chronicles of the time, which, in addition to the history of the Hanseatic League, reveals important information about its political economy, shipbuilding, urban planning, architecture, arts, material and spiritual culture.

Athanasios Kouzelis est professeur à l'Institut d'enseignement technologique (T.E.I.) d'Athènes, où il enseigne le design industriel, la théorie et les méthodes du design. Au cours de sa carrière universitaire, il a également écrit des livres, des manuscrits et des articles sur l'architecture et le design (en grec, anglais, suédois et danois).
