Modern power system is very much concerned with power quality .When we say modern we mean to say it is the evolution of an error free, perfect and suited by all the electrical loads used in modern industry and domestic appliances.Recently nonlinear load that consumes non-sinusoidal current have increased significantly.The main problem with such loads is that, they gives rise to harmonic currents that flow in transmission lines and thus, disturbing the power quality.
