Harnessing SMEs Activities to Improve Contribution to National Fiscus

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector is an important sector in the Zimbabwean economy due to its provision of employment creation. The importance of SMEs at national, regional and international level is undoubtedly of higher significance. There is a noticeable high growth rate of SMEs in many countries. SMEs have pivotal role in many aspects such as employment creation, innovation, improves standard of living for ordinary citizens and taxes, which most of times regarded as responsibilities of large firms or research centres.
