Nanotechnology plays a major role in the food sector through the quality food production ends with advanced processing, packaging, and long-term storage, provided enormous growth in the food industry through enhancement in food quality by improving its flavor and texture. In the recent world, impurities are increasing in different food products. Food science means the science of food which includes food components, their behaviour under different environmental conditions, the process of harvesting, milling, exposure to heat, cold, acids, alkalis etc. Nature is minimizing the hazards, while human beings are maximising them. Environmental contamination has changed the lifestyle of people in many ways all around the world. Nanoscience has become a diverse and unique field of scientific and technical activity. Over the last few years, the research interest in nanomaterials/nanoparticles and their various applications in various electronic devices, effective optoelectronic devices, bio-sensors, photodetectors, solar cells, nanodevices and plasmonic structures have been increasing tremendously.

He is working in the area of Nanotechnology which implements in the areas of Forensics, Engineering and Material Sciences.
