HCCI Engines

Reciprocating machines were invented in 11th century by El-Cezeri. From that day to this, several modifications have been applied on them. Today, we have more efficient, more durable and environmentally friendly engines, but it is not enough. In this book, HCCI technology has been taken up comprehensively as a new technique in diesel engines in terms of combustion performance and exhaust emissions.

Dr. Hasan KÖTEN is a lecturer at Mechanical Engineering Department of Marmara University in Turkey. He got Mechanical Engineering and Electrical-Electronics Engineering degrees from Sakarya University. He finished MSc and PhD at Marmara University in 2014. He worked at The Ohio State University during his PhD study as a visiting scholar.
