Head teacher's Perception of her Role as an Educational Leader

The role of head teacher is pivotal to the success of school for improving the quality of teaching and learning process. Literature on educational leadership and management also suggests that successful school improvement depends on the quality of leadership at schools. There is a general held opinion among the educators and researchers that school improvement is directly related to the nature of school leadership. An effective educational leadership deals with the transformation of school, for the accomplishment of its aims and objectives (Kunwar, 2001).
