Health-related quality of life of ICU nurses

This book provides insight into the essential and subjective aspects of the health-related quality of life of ICU nurses and proposes a reflection on the impact of nurses' working conditions in ICUs on care practices. With the use of specific instruments, it is possible to measure such an abstract and controversial concept as quality of life. However, it is necessary to identify the factors that can have an impact on outcomes related to critically ill patients. The author invites readers to rethink working conditions and the impact on the quality of care that patients enjoy during therapy in critical care units.
