Health Related Quality of Life of Refugees with Disabilities in Zambia

This Book examines the Health Related Quality Of life of encamped refugees with disabilities in camp conditions. Disability is one of the significant contributors to a reduced Health Related Quality of Life. Therefore poor people like refugees are exposed to primary causes of injury, chronic poor health and disability in conflict affected zones and are more likely to have poor access to health services, rehabilitation and social support in host nations.

The author is a Physiotherapist at the University Teaching Hospital. From 2002 to 2004 he served as Physiotherapist for the refugee rehabilitation Project under ICRC/UTH partnership. A Keen Sports Physiotherapist. He has been a Physiotherapist for the Zambia National Soccer Team. Zambian contingent Physiotherapist for London 2012 Olympics.
