Details
Amongst the top-rate sought-after service on a global scale is good health.Amidst palpable advances in Health care delivery, certain peoples maintain poor health status indices; thought to be linked to the skewed health facility and service distribution as well as defective health care utilisation strategies . The behavioural inadequacies of health seeking behaviours are perceived to be related to poor health care use. The role of socioeconomic status in overall health behaviours have been theorized often times hence the need for adequate research. This book presents in its introductory chapter the concepts of health, illness, health facility and health seeking behaviours; followed by the review of literature and methodology chapters. The next chapter has the results presented in relevant tables and figures with statistical analysis running side by side. The results were discussed next; placing them alongside other works; this was followed by the conclusion chapter. This rather indepth scientific piece would find significant relevance in the hands of medical students, public health physicians, health systems experts and the generally inquisitive mind.
