Healthy is he who is not ill?
Details
This study uses a cross-sectional study to investigate the relationship between mental stress and selected factors from the area of personal and organisational resources. The aim is to identify influencing factors in the workplace that promote optimal mental stress among employees, irrespective of the existing stresses. Are psychological resilience, room for manoeuvre, social support and a varied work activity per se associated with optimal psychological stress and vice versa? What factors actually serve us as good predictors of mental stress at work? And are there actually factors that holistically compensate for the negative effects of stress through their buffering effect?
