Heat Transfer in Casson
Details
Fluid mechanics is an "ancient science" that is incredibly alive today. The modern technologies require a deeper understanding of the behavior of real fluids. Life as we know it would not exist without fluids and without the behavior that fluids exhibit. The air we breathe and the water we drink (and which makes up most of our body mass) are fluids. Motion of air keeps us comfortable in a warm room, and air provides the oxygen we need to sustain life. Similarly, most of our (liquid) body fluids are water based. The book is a unified progress report which captures the spirit of the work in progress in free convection flow and also identifies the potential difficulties. In addition, this work provides new material on convective heat and mass transfer. We have complemented the book with extensive references in order to stimulate further studies of the problems considered. The book will be of interest to postgraduate students and researchers in the field of applied mathematics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, physics, geophysics, chemical and mechanical engineering, etc.
